Educational use only
Ergentics apps are independent study aids designed to support learning. They are not medical advice, clinical decision support, or a substitute for professional judgment; not a certification or licensure; and not a guarantee of any examination outcome. Outcomes depend on individual study habits, experience, and conditions outside our control. Always verify clinical or technical content against current authoritative sources.
Not affiliated
Ergentics products are independent and unofficial. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any certifying body, including (without limitation) the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or any other regulatory authority. Names of examinations and credentialing marks belong to their respective owners.
License granted to you
Subject to these terms, Ergentics grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use our apps and website for personal, non-commercial study only.
What is not permitted
Without prior written permission from Ergentics, you may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or republish any portion of the source code or content;
- Create derivative works of, modify, or adapt the source code or content;
- Use any portion for commercial purposes, including sale, licensing, training-data inclusion, or use within a paid product or service;
- Remove or alter copyright notices or in-app disclaimers;
- Use the name "Ergentics" or any product name (e.g., "PMHNP Companion"), or visually confusable variants, to identify another product or service.
Content currency
Clinical and technical content reflects guidelines, drug labels, and scholarly literature as of each product's most recent update. Standards evolve; you are responsible for verifying any content against current authoritative sources before acting on it.
Intellectual property
All Ergentics apps, this website, and their bundled content (including clinical cases, rationales, flashcards, quiz items, library entries, audio lectures, slide decks, and underlying specifications) are the proprietary work of Ergentics, LLC, © 2026. All rights reserved.
No warranty
The software and content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ergentics will not be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from or in connection with the software or its use.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above will change accordingly. Continued use of our products after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
